5.1 Mixing…
Well I’ve started doing my 5.1 surround sound mixing
projects again now that I have the tools for it…
If you’ll like to hear some I’ve finished make sure you have the
Fraunhofer mp3Surround player installed (otherwise it’s 2.0 stereo).
You can grab said player here.
It is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux!
Though make sure you have at least a 5.1 receiver,
speakers, or head phones plugged in (otherwise like before it’s 2.0 stereo).
(Side note if you go the head phones route make sure to click the 5.1 Head Phones mode)
And you can then download the following:
Sentinel by VNV Nation from the latest album “Of Faith, Power and Glory”
Moxxi1 Background music from the DLC of Borderlands Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot
Moxxi2 Background music from the DLC of Borderlands Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot
Then enjoy them in 5.1 glory!
PS. Yes Dolby Digital and DTS versions are available for anyone asking.
PPS. If you are a copyright holder of said songs above and want them removed please let me know by commenting below and I shall do so.
Xiph support added…
Well I’ve been playing around with ogg vorbis and theora again and I decided to add support.
If you want to host a ogv (theora/ogg vorbis) file on inexistence it should work flawlessly.
I added support for oggz-chop and the mime types are set correctly.
I did not set remote access (hotlinking to videos from outside sites not on inexistence)
you will have to ask me nicely to enable that feature for you…
For more information you can check out Working with Theora
PS. If you are using a macos x based computer I would recommend installing: XiphQT
Or you can always use Firefox 3.5.x on any computer to play Xiph audio/video…
Last.fm added…
I add the last.fm records plugin so you folks can see what songs
I am currently listening to. (even includes album artwork!)
If you haven’t heard of last.fm you really should check it out, it doesn’t have adds
or anything else annoying that other sites do…
Enjoy!
PS. I also added a mobile check link for the site to show ready.mobi results
my site has an overall rating of good. Just one warning and it’s for some
javascript that detects more advanced mobile devices so I’m going to keep it.
